Sonoma County is a mecca of gorgeous scenery from vineyards to coast – truly gorgeous.
This summer take your kids out to experience all the hiking Sonoma County has to offer!
The Kortum Trail is relatively flat and easy to hike. It travels right along the coastal cliffs and has breathtaking views. You can even bring your pup on a leash!
Pomo Canyon is a trail from the camp and goes three miles up, then down to Shell Beach. It’s one of the prettiest short hikes in Northern California. This trail rises past clusters of cathedral redwoods, then climbs out onto the ridge. There are sweeping views of the Russian River valley. Go higher, and you score a vista of Goat Rock and the mouth of the Russian River.
Ragle Ranch is a great place to take kids. Full of easy hikes with wide flat trails. Most trails end at a park for the kiddos to play after the hike. Really wear them out for naptime!
