			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I like to think of health like a bank account; we make deposits, and we make withdrawals.  Deposits and withdrawals are made based on our habits and also nature&#8217;s whims.  Some we can control, others we take precautions for, and certain ones get the best of us.  The idea behind habits that make deposits is most important when we consider the withdrawals we want to make.  Some things that really give our lives meaning can make some pretty major withdrawals, like white water kayaking or running marathons, and we want to have enough in the bank to cover that debit.  In fact, if we get really smart, not only are we in the habit of making deposits but we also learn to make withdrawals that we then deposit into other accounts.  Like staying up all night for your sick spouse pulls resources from that sleep account but puts some back into the marriage account.  The worst kind of accounting is when we habitually make withdrawals and put it in the trash.  For example, when we binge on bad food, stay up late watching television, smoke, or consume drugs and alcohol, there is no deposit into another account. It just goes right in the garbage.  Take an inventory and see what kind of deposits and withdrawals you are making.  Chances are there is room to improve your net worth in health!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Purpose in life is about what makes us passionate because when we are passionate, we are capable of making a difference in the world.  Being absorbed in our own problems and inadequacies is an easy thing to do, and obsessing constantly about how to overcome it all is the usually the result.  The formula is simple:  Create goals that are in alignment with your passions, and do whatever it takes to achieve them. Focusing on why you are alive keeps your spirits high, and applying your energy toward the steps that fuel that purpose generates true fulfillment.  However, critical to the legacy of your success is when you not only come out on top but come out intact.  In other words, tending to your health will inspire others to respect your accomplishments.  Be a leader whom others wish to emulate by creating a life of accomplishment that truly radiates from inner to outer.  Make chiropractic a part of your wellness lifestyle and get your tune up adjustments once a month!</p>

And often along the way, we are seduced by what other people say is the truth and forget to question its authenticity. This is especially true when we grow up exposed to certain things enough that they just seem normal.<br />

Myth: the doctor, your insurance and the government will take care of your health. But most of us believe this myth is true. Why? Because that&#8217;s how everybody around us behaves. Or they are like some Clint Eastwood medical atheist who believes it&#8217;s okay to just die of neglect and never seek any help at all. I think we all know someone like that as well.</p>
<p>Rarely do people proactively guard and cultivate their health on a daily basis as they should to keep themselves strong. But this effort is necessary &#8212; I know we all wish life were about fun and what feels good now, but if it were, then Peter Pan would be our president. Life is about knowing the truth, taking responsibility for the truth and acting on the truth. Take control of your health now!</p>
