After finishing college and completing a doctorate in chiropractic I began private practice in Oakland CA. A year and a half later I had an opportunity to move my practice to Sonoma County and I established Toth Chiropractic in 2007 in downtown Santa Rosa. I grew up in Healdsburg in an awesome Brady Bunch family most of whom still live there including my parents and three of my 6 siblings! Sonoma County is where my heart is and I am so happy to be close to my family and serving the people I love in the place that I love.
I hold a bachelors degree in Health Science and received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West where I graduated with honors in 2005. I am also an SCDS and Cardinal Newman Alumni.
Post Graduate Training and Certifications
As a chiropractor, I have pursued over 3 years of additional apprenticeship and mentoring under some of the foremost leaders in the chiropractic profession including a postgraduate certificate in Chiropractic Pediatrics from the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association. I also work as an expert witness for legal cases requiring expert testimony in the state of California. After attending a 200 hour yoga teacher training, I also have a certificate as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
Association Memberships and Professional Affiliations
I have memberships with the American Chiropractic Association, the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association, the Foundation For Chiropractic Progress, and I am the immediate past president for the North Bay District of the California Chiropractic Association. In 2013 and 2014 I had the honor of serving as the Sonoma County Key Doctor at the Sacramento State Capitol Legislative Conference. I am also a member of the Yoga Alliance and the past president of the Business Networking International group in Santa Rosa. I firmly believe in the advancement of community thru the development of professional ethics and standards in professional organizations.
Every year the office holds a fundraiser for a local organization in need. Over the last four years we have raised money for CHOPS Teen Center in Santa Rosa and the Boys and Girls Club, and we hold regular food drives for the Redwood Empire Food Bank. We participate in the Human Race and try to get involved with at least one other race every year as well. I have also volunteered my services as a chiropractor in El Salvador and India for communities in need.
In 2011 I met my amazing wife, Felice, and we were married a year and a half later at the house where I grew up in Healdsburg. Felice is from Austin Texas but moved to the Bay Area to earn a Masters degree in Psychology. She has since worked in private practice and also in the psych emergency department at CCRMC. We had a little boy named Maxwell in 2015 who is an amazing blessing in our lives! We live in Windsor and get frequent visits with my parents who both live in the area. I enjoy spending time with my brothers and sisters who also live in Sonoma County and the greater Bay Area and I often see other extended family who also live nearby.
I have a passion for yoga, meditation and exercise including the occassional triathlon or 10K. However, I love being outside and will look for any excuse to hike in beautiful Sonoma County. I also enjoy tennis, skiing, scuba diving and sometimes surfing when I get the chance.
